Councilmember Julissa Ferreras and Queens Library CEO Thomas W. Galante, accompanied by young library patron Danielle Plaza, cut the ribbon on a new 24/7 self-service return kiosk at the Corona branch of the Queens Library. Ferreras donated $200,000 towards this project. Using self-service technology, library customers in Corona now have the ability to check their own materials in and out, making their library experience convenient, fast and accurate. And since the return kiosk is open around the clock, customers may return books, videos and other library materials on their own schedules. The Queens Library in Corona is located at 38-17 104th St.
